I hate noticed two lately. Tichy Strider murdered ' You're not alone' Just awful. Now Dizzy Rascal has Slaughtered 'Dirty Cash'. They should stick to their own genre's and stop using good samples and filling them with crap rap.

I suppose, but they still should not rip off good dance tunes!

It's because rap has become an increasingly stagnant and repetitive genre so they're looking for anything that'll keep them relevant.

It really annoyed me when Flo Rider used tat "I'm blue bap a dee ba da doo" song.
Like infuriated me.
Then he used that "You spin my head right round right round, like a record baby right round round round".
He just pissed me off completely then.

I think it's maybe not the fact that they are using them that's make me annoyed.
It's just the fact that they make it bad.
50 Cent did a great job with Crystal Castles' "Ayo Technology".
And I quite like "Dirty Cash".

I love rap, don't get me wrong.
50 Cent's new song with Neyo is my favourite song at the moment, but it's just that the likes of Tinchy and Flo Rider actually don't make good songs, so they ruin the classics.
I'm not apposed to the idea of rappers using dance music as samples,
It just has to be done well.

Like for instance, if Jay Z used an old Faithless track like "Insomnia", it would be AMAZING.
And nobody would have a problem with it methinks.

I think it's just because, like I said, these rappers are actually bringing down the classic with them because of the shitness of their songs.

Aw but he'd make it hot!
Like how he made a song from "Annie" really fit in well in "It's a hard knock life".

Hmmm not sure about that dear. It seems to be a British trend at the moment really. Jay Z is good at making rap songs, he does not need dance samples.

Because these identikit pop rap artists are completely devoid of any and all creativity and rely on samples rather than coming up with there own timeless electronic based sound. Sit most of them in front of a synth and they would not be able to find the power switch. Clueless in the studio, too. They write some cliched lyrics any one of us could bang out in seconds, rope in the real gear heads to rip off a classic, and show up in the video wearing daft clothes to the tune of millions of pounds.

*sigh*

Can anybody tell me what this Pitbull geezer actually does that merits him earning more money than me?

Don't like this new breed, they seem really untalented and boring. You're right Stu about them not knowing anything about producing the songs either, they just babble out the lyrics and hope for the best. N Dubz as well, talentless wankers.

And let's not forget Kanyes' misuse of Daft Punk. I like Dizzees' music but the 2 songs mentioned in the op I find to be extremely dire.

More than 2, theres been loads they take!
But tbh everytime Tinchy Opens his **** mouth he murders somthing!

I noticed he can never have a sucesful song unless another Band or Artist sing with him!

Look at that song "Never leave you" I think thats the name, and 'Number One'

Both them songs would of never took off if he didnt have N Dubz or that Girl from the Sugababes singing with him!

Hes a prick

You can't compare Take That and Busted. One one thing Take That write all their own songs. And they all play instruments, just cos they don't do it the whole time, doesn't mean they're not a band. They are a band!

It's just pop, grime is more underground. Dizzy does all sorts.
