Has anyone seen this yet, and if so, what did you think of it? I'm hoping to go and see it this week. The Tim Burton/Johnny Depp partnership always yields great results.

I went to see it today. It was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. We were there with 4 kids, and they all enjoyed it too. My butt was numb from sitting so long though, and I stuffed my face with chocolate all the time I was there, so I felt like a bloater by the time it finished. LoL..

I conclude.. Well worth seeing. Entertaining, and of course, the lovely Johnny... PuRRRRRRR

I think Roal Dhal is very dark so I won't be going to see it.

ThaGazBoi

Why do you think that Harry

harry
05-08-2005, 01:53 PM
Well all his writing has a very dark side to it as in very nasty/evil people. Don't forget these are supposed to be childrens stories.

He lost a child - a daughter - and since that time all his work has been a bit on the dark side. It can be seen as very deep

Gazz where in kent are u? Why do you want Mad-cosy to win?

See my thoughts on him is that he really doesn't like children - the BfG was a child catcher etc - you don't have to be a big reader (but I am) watch the films and look in a different light - most are anti kids then he brings it round to a happy ending

Im near dartford.

I want Makosi to win because i feel shes the most entertaining.

I like the BFG movie

harry

My parent live in Smarden. i don't like Makosi.

Yes BfG is a good film but the child catcher thing is there!
