Non-scary things that scare you.

I mean silly things that scare people.

Like cats, or dogs or clowns.

I can see why people are scared by the things above but I mean other types of things aswell. Like how I have a fear of cotton wool, or having blood come from my mouth. eughh they make me shiver.
I also hate the sea with a passion. I cant look at river that have been live flooded either.

I hate eyes too. Well I love them actually I think they are hot but when people are staring at you or when they are wearing sunglasses I cant look at them at all. I just panic and feel uncomforatable

I get like that aswell. Even if i am not even on something high. I will just be walking and then be like oh no.. and i feel all like scared. lol

Falling of high floors. In my school we have a hub area and I refuse to walk near the edge of the metal railings unless I fall down (Which is never likley to happern). I also cant stand going out on hotel bouncanys unless I think I will fall off them (So I have to stand far back from them).

I've felt those kinda compulsions too.... like you just want to jump in for the crack, or scream out in the middle of a few friends just for the sport of it lol. Luckily we hold back though and a sense of decorum takes over.

lol I actually know what you mean. I get it aswell. Its only really if someone is being horrible to someone. I want to hit them in a really mean way and I am not like that.

A couple more things I'm scared of; parties, any social gathering makes me anxious, I start to perspire and get very nervous if I'm going to one. Also having to talk to people who don't know me, I guess its a fear of strangers, but it's really just the talking part that scares me.

I know how that feels! Had it for years - think it stems from when my parents took me up the top of a lighthouse somewhere, whilst on holiday, and we had to walk out on a narrow ledge around the top - and you couldn't turn around and go back - because there was a queue of people behind us. It was really high and there were lots of rocks at the bottom - it was awful. Wanted to jump then - to get it over with! It was really hard to stop myself. Stuck with me! Still feel the same way when up high - so avoid heights like the plague!

Dogs are terrifying! I'm not fond of many animals tbh,bad vegetarian....

I also hate heights,quiet and speaking on the phone to randomers. Oh and I hate velvet,the feel of it makes me want to vom.

I know quite a few people scared of pigeons. Cos I always feed them in the park if I'm eating lunch and no-one is ever happy about it!

I always get odd compulsions like that when I am crossing a bridge, or when I am in a waiting room or some other quiet area where I think ''what if I just scream?''.

On topic, it's more things that make my skin crawl than scary but:

- Sponges (as Tom said, hate touching them)
- Fork being scraped directly across a plate, bowl etc. I get really annoyed if I see/hear someone doing this.
- Very squeemish with eyes too. Hate the things. I always get these visions of like me sticking a pin in my eye or something and I hate it.

I forgot about this, but there is a mask that people one in some kind of war, I have no idea which on it is but its in Night of the museum. They have no faces on it and its white. They scare the hell outta me. When I first saw the bas romance video i had to close it down because I thought there was one of them masks in it. lol :blush2:
