There seems to be all this (mostly female) hysteria about Olly and how aming he is, hes even favourite to win the whole show yet i fail to see how. He is clearly NOT the best vocalist there, Stacey, Joe, Danyl and Jamie are all better than him, he does nothing but dance numbers and last night he got amazing comments for a very bad performance. What the hell!?? He is so OVERRATED! agree? or not agree? Oh and that stupid, and very rubbish dancing makes me not understand his popularity even more!

He can sing ok, not great and his dancing is mostly embarassing, not the x factor winner most people would want. Its his stupid cheeky essex boy act which gets him through. And no, his fans are nearly ALL female

Steve Brookstien haha, and yeah i agree with you, he isnt bad, hes just not that good either. And he would be another X Factor nobody if he won.

I agree with you 100%, most overrated contestant ever.

The judges praised him when they shouldnt have, worst performance by him and of the night!

I just enjoy his performances.. he's a proper cockney lad and he seems pretty down to earth. Him and Stacey make me laugh - but maybe I should base it more on talent.. hmm LOL

Thats actual bull....in the x factor studios every woman they ask is nearly always an olly fan, and every text is for him form girls and in my family every woman wants him to win and all the girls at school do.

He is a bit. He is very likeable - and quite a good singer - but not as good as others.

When he sang the Queen song last night - I thought the weakness in his voice was very noticable. I know it is hard for anyone to compete with Freddie Mercury's strong, powerful voice - but, in comparison, it sounded poor.

The thing with Olly is that he does what not a lot of people do on TXF, he appeals to both males and females. He ticks all the boxes

I find most my firends dilike olly, so its nice people on here liek him.

The agree what op is saying, that he is overrated.

I jsut liek mroe then the otheres. They dont do it for me, he does, hes got a good voice and peforms well, more entertaining than the lame twins!

And it's not about the voice, but how you use it. Someone with a big voice can screw it up and make it unbearable for people's ears while someone with a nice voice can give people goose bumps.

Hes not a bad person, its just beacuse the love for him has become so cringy, and the fact he believes he is soo good now makes him seem overly confident

I dont this is true as such, people didnt like Danyl bcause he was cocky, but now he isnt anymore, I like him.

With Olly, he has become tedious, and to be fair, last night he wasnt very good, even some of his fans are admiting it was his worst performance.

But I can see where ya coming from, some people might be inclined to do this, but dont think anybody on here is doing that for this reason.

Olly is favourite now, but I dont find him cocky? Like I said, hes a decent guy, just dont like him as an artist (his first audition was good, nothing more came from him though).
Although if Danyl or Jamie did the whole rip off ya shirt like Olly did last week, they would have been branded cocky. But first weeks Danyl appeared very very cocky, glad he toned it down :thumbs:
