Leona Lewis has recorded the theme song for the soundtrack to James Cameron's upcoming movie Avatar.

'I See You' was produced by James Horner and Simon Franglen, the team behind Celine Dion's Titanic theme 'My Heart Will Go On'.

Jake Nava, who has directed music videos for Beyoncé and Shakira, is currently producing a companion video for the track.

Avatar: Music From The Motion Picture is released through Atlantic Records on December 15.

Avatar is in cinemas from December 18.

She's getting around now ain't she? I wonder if it'll end up nominated for best song Oscar since Avatar's very likely to be a presence in next year's awards.

didn't she record the theme tune to a Final Fantasy game or something like that recently too?

The 'My Hands' Track from her album is gonna be the theme song to the next Final Fantasy.

She sure is a busy bee lately.

Yes.
Well, tall smurfs.

lol.

I can't wait for it though, although I have a feeling it's going to be dire.:joker:
The SFX are supposed to be AMAZING in the extreme.

I'm not so sure about it all to be honest with you. The script is very slight and that kinda film has been done before although obviously not with the same effects or production values that are always involved in any Cameron flick.

My other problem is with the tall Smurfs themselves who might alienate me from the whole experience seeing as they really do look so cartoony and silly. Will I be able to suspend my disbelief and fully engage in the experience once I'm in the cinema? I hope so because it hasn't worked for me with the trailers.

Ya, I have the same fears.
And the trailers do not help one little bit.
:(
Atleat though, Sigourney Weaver is in it, so I know one element of the film is going to be good atleast for sure. :D

And KKBL,
Here's the trailer.
"Avatar" is definitely the biggest film of the year and probably, with "Star Trek" back in May and "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" recently, the most highly anticipated.

Can't beat a bit of Sigourney. Elegant and beautiful lady. Always loved her. Apparently Michael Biehn was going to be in it too but they decided against it. That would have been nice too.

Definitely!
She is a truly great actress.
Like Susan Sarandon, Jamie Lee Curtis etc.
And, off course old Meryl Streep.

My fav. is Julianne Moore though.

Michal Biehn would've been cool!
I remember him from "Planet Terror".

Eric Cartman was so robbed, Avatar is a complete rip off of 'Dances With Smurfs'

Oh Smurfette why did you have to die?

I love Weaver and yes, obviously the other ones you've mentioned too. Moore is a little icy for me sometimes. Still rate her highly as an actress though.
