Right, so there is a low standard of groups nearly every year right? And even when the standard is good, they just don't get enough recognition to win, so here's an idea.
What if the people who didn't make it past bootcamp stage 1 (girls, boys and overs) are ALL called together and asked to form different groups. They have 1 or 2 days to put together a song and the best ones make it through to the second stage of bootcamp. They show the best (and worst obviously :P) performances and the best get through. They could have their own 30-60 minutes of the show.
This could produce some good groups AND get groups some more recognition in the competition.
