We all get angry, how do you deal with it? Yell at or smash inanimate objects? Do you have your own cooling down methods? Has your anger ever lead you to violence?

i have really bad anger problems and i end up throwing things alot.
once at school i got really pissed off at a teacher and chucked my ring at her and it hit her in the face ;/ so i usually just sit on my hands and bite my lip really hard.

I rant about it in a Facebook status and then sit alone getting annoyed by it.

For some reason I can't get angry around friends/people I know. I can get pissed off, but not angry.

Whereas it'll take the tiniest thing for my parents/brothers to get me angry and then I'll just shout and go mental.

If I have a lot of anger in me though I'll usually just get a pillow and attack it until I eventually start pmsl, and it works. :joker:

I just try to make light of the situation/turn it into something funny and it always works

I'm naturally calm when it comes to anger I don't get angry that much, too laid back

Except when it came to Jedward..

If I'm at home, scream, cry, maybe wack my head of my wall or something and swear alot under my breath
If I'm in public, go quiet and try not to cry

Hit things just lose control in general but its often very short lived.
Get angry at small things more than big things..
Losing games (ps3), spilling a drink, dropping a spoon when making tea.

Dents in my door and everything.
Headbutted a few things lol..

I never hold ay grudges and tend to laugh if someone makes light of the situation...
so its very short, hit something and anger is gone...

Yeah I probably should've stressed that bit a bit more.

It's not like I take a pillow around with me and just start attacking it in the middle of Morrisons cause their own brand crisps have gone up. :blush2:

Used to be really bad when I was younger, punched holes in the walls and all sorts

Then I started doing boxing, and if I now ever get wound up I'll just use my punchbag

I try not to get angry, normally I get pissed off rather than angry, I think there is a slight difference

Its hard to get me pissed off, but what can trigger it is if people judge me for no reason or if people talk about me behind my back and I find out, I cant stand that!
I either approach them and ask whyyy and then resolve it or just be pissy with eachother for a while, or ignore them.
If Im feeling down about other things and this happens, I have quiet days where I hardly speak :) Its good, when you dont speak you can think

If at home, I let myself go a bit, will shout (not at anybody just in general) then go in my room and listen to music and cool down

But like I said, I hardly ever get like this, and if I do Im normally alright after a day if that :D

Edit to add: coming on here helps

Fifa is the most frustrating, the other team take the lead and keep possession for a long time and then it's game over lol

It takes alot for me to erupt but it usually just ends up being a bit of a shouting session in order to vent. Most of the time I control it very well but of course that means you need an outlet for your frustrations during the day - running, meditation or music works fine for me.... or the odd wank.

I try really really hard not to get angry because when I do it's not good at all.

I used to have real tantrums, kicking, screaming, throwing things etc, not pretty!

Now I usually walk away from whatever is making me mad, take a deep breath and stick some music on LOUD if I can, that always helps. If I get fit to burst mad then I'll usually burst into hysterical tears lol.

Takes a lot to make me really angry these days though, which is good!

No for me its the ref.

I feel i make a good tackle and a foul is commited.
But they make a bad tackle and its play on.

Far worse although i have never been red carded on it coz i dont do big slides lol.

wilshire got thrown on the floor by vidic i got nothing.
You know when you push someone off the ball, and the ball keeps going and they dont..and you just know its gunna be a foul...

That also happened van persie pushed right off the ball, one of their players got it...and no foul..

i was pissed lol.

I just go really quiet, perhaps swear to myself a bit quietly or remove myself from the situation to be by myself for a while. I can't hold onto my anger though, if I'm ever in a bad mood with you just make me laugh and I'll get over it quickly.

Excluding the pillow fetish you've got going on there () I'm the exact same; my friends just don't get me angry, they can irritate me but never anger me. Then I go home and my parents and siblings get me ranting and shouting within minutes, particularly my younger brother and my mum.

Normally I just rant about what's making me angry to a friend or I kinda talk to myself in my head, the other voice being what I'd imagine my friends would say. I am sane, I swear. My younger brother punched me in the face once, so I belted him back instinctively. Good learning curve, he's never done it again haha.

I didn't until I have been to Anger Management at the age of 17 because I used to fight a lot, I have been banned of 3 bars in my city and I got angry for basically nothing and I broke a lot of things. Basically I was quite a case when I was a kid and later on.
Now, when I get angry, I do these exercises they taught us. But sometimes I need to break something or to punch someone good and proper.

I wouldn't even like to imagine. My friend wouldn't stop mocking them once and I took her shoes and nearly threw them out the window.
