I thought it was just me having problems, its taken me about 10 minutes for each page to load up.

It should soon be sorted if it hasn't been sorted already. One of the routers on the internet is playing up and dropping the data to and from the board. It's an age old internet problem... but luckily it doesn't occur as much as it use to the internet was born back in the 1980's.

I havent been able to post for about 6 hours, its taken ages for the pages to load up.

Looking in more detail the problem is at the on the local area network the server is sitting on, or could be the server itself.

This means everyone will be experiencing the same problem and delays with the site.

TiBB has been loading very slowly and taking ages for pages to load up over the past 2 days. Anyone else getting this? I'm on cable and have tried IE and Firefox with the same results.

Yes! I thought my PC had got a virus or summat thank god its not my PC, Phew.
It isnt as slow as it was yeaterday though, but still slower than normal. Yesterday it took about 5 minutes to load 1 page, today for me its more like 1 minute. :bawling:

Site has suddenly come back for me.

I've contacted the webhost about this. They say there is nothing wrong with the server. They are looking into the problem.

When I pinged the site earlier today only 20-30% of the packets made it through. Now we are back to 100%. The traceroute I did reached the hosting companies local area network OK with out any packet loss, suggesting the problem was with there LAN or the server itself. Also the site seemed to be down for a few minutes so it might have been rebooted.
