I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now, that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.
That's not the name of a film I'm nominating BTW. Just for clarification, ya know.

I really can't think of any that have blown me away really. District 9 would be the one that threw me off guard and entertained me the most, simply because of how offbeat and intelligent it was for a big blockbuster.

I really don't get the acclaim for Slumdog... don't get me started on that one.
Anyway, just saw a flick that's up there with my favourites of the year called World's Greatest Dad. It's very easy to slag off Robin Williams but just occassionally he reminds me of how talented a performer he is and this screenplay was just very funny and engaging.
