Excuse me if this has come up before.

bearing in mind that the Big Brother format is in its death throws would TIBB benefit from a name change to a more generic forum based name?

Perhaps you have thought of one?

It has one ' UK TV Forums'

And should we Not wait to see if a
Another Channel takes the Endemol Deal.

Maybe the forum will switch over to the X Factor site when BB finishes?

We do not know that Big Brother under Endemol on
a New Format , New Channel is gone for good.

Yeah:)
i think maybe This is X factor "TTXf" should be the name.
but it just doesn't have same ring to it like TiBB does:(

It'll go from bad to terrible if another channel picked it up anyway since it'd end up being a sattelite which means it'd end up being cheap and tacky.....I mean even more cheap and tacky.

If the name does change it'll still probably always be Tibb to the regulars.

Yeh it will always be TiBB to me now tbh

Lauren

Should just stay as TiBB, or something general. Shouldn't switch to another show because within time it'd have to change again and it's never good for a business (which, in theory, a forum is).

I reckon we can all wait a good half a year or so before we begin to worry about it.

I think everyone who knows anyway knows that the best time on this forum is off season, so even if it remained a 'Big Brother' forum forever that would suit me just fine.

i am just thinking about expansion and new blood. "Big Brother" is now a damaged and unappealing brand.

We will be fine for another year, trust me. Big Brother ratings go down every year yet this forum still get's busier every year. Big Brother may be going down the pan, but kids gaining internet access aint'.

I asked Mark about this a while ago and he said no. He gets a lot of traffic from this domain and also it fits into most things from george orwell's 1984 "big brother is watching... etc" if that makes ANY sense at all, lol

We have a winner!

Perhaps we can give the forum a weekly name change. Hell on the search engines, but whatever.

Each week the forum gets named after a different member!

It just needs a name change to survive NOT a format change. Just generalise the title to appeal to new people visting the site.

If it changes name when BB11 ends I swear to god Im sure I wont be the only member who wont look twice at this site for turning its back on Big Brother.

BB11 is not the last series as you will see when BB12 is on another channel in a few years.

All those idiots saying it should be an X Factor forum..WTF?
X Factor is ****, if anything it should be an IAC forum but thats a **** idea too.

It should stay BB no matter who hates Big Brother, if you hate BB IMO you should leave this site.

Im glad James and Mark arent ******* and wont actually change the name of this site to somthing stupid like X Factor.

Rant over :)

Think of it like this,

When BB11 Ends I know for a fact that within 2 months of BB11 ending, alot of members on here would demand a Change in Domain Name.

You`ll get the half of TiBBers who want the change of name and the cool half that DONT.

If by some chance Mark decided to change the name:

1) Alot of members wouldnt go online

2) If anything the site would loose New Members

3) This site will stay with its new domain name for about a year, and then BB12 will be announced to be aired on another channel during 2012 and then members will be asking for TiBB back.

It should stay as "This is Big Brother"

Because...

BBUK is NOT they only Big Brother programme in the world.

There are lots of others which still air..

Including BB USA (and Patrick I don't care what you think, ok)

It came 1 week before BB UK and has had 12 seasons.

Pretty popular in the USA.

BB11USA had fantastic ratings, better than BB9USA BB10USA both in 2008.

So yeah.

TiBB should stay as the name.

I'm pretty sure you will.

I wouldn't hold your breath... It's only got a small chance of being picked up by another channel and if it does it won't be the BB we know now.

All those idiots saying it should be an X Factor forum..WTF?

X Factor's a no no but IAC is okay?

It should stay BB no matter who hates Big Brother, if you hate BB IMO you should leave this site.

But the members that make this site as great as it is can ltake or leave BB, if they go Tibb will be left with members like...you. Tibb's only a BB forum for 3 months a year.

Im glad James and Mark arent ******* and wont actually change the name of this site to somthing stupid like X Factor.

Ironically XF is on for longer then BB, this Forum's more focused on XF for a longer time then it's focused on BB

You do know this is A UK TV Forum and not USA TV Forums.

So the Americans can go get their own forum to chat about BB USA.
Considering the majority are from the UK and chat about UK TV and not BB USA which can only be watched online anyway.

So your post is full of **** basically, Except for the last part were it should stay as TiBB but it should only stay as TiBB for the fact BB12UK will be on another brodcaster

1. I just said IAC is a **** idea to so learn to read.

2. BB Is on 3 months EVERY DAY, X Factor is on during the Weekends for an hour an hour a night.

So clearly BB gives us more to talk about!

Not really, His post is showing his love for BBUSA.

If he wants to discuss BB USA he can but thinking that people will come on a UK Forum to discuss a USA show that doesnt even air in the UK, is a stupid idea.

But X Factor has a bigger audience thus more potential members plus the XF section has remained rife with activity, thus a moot point on your part. Plus there's my earlier point that XF has a longer duration then CBB and BB does combined each year.

****ing hell Patrick, fair play for your support of the show, but your views are so deluded it is unbelievable.

People don't need to reply to make you look silly because you are doing it yourself.
