What did you think of the season premiere for the new Scrubs?

To be honest...it felt empty, very empty, JD, Turk and Dr. Cox are the best thing about the new show, and one of them, JD is only there for 6 episodes...plus the Janitor is gone..and the location has totally changed...I dont know wether I should watch on, or go back to watching the repeats on E4. My heart tells me the latter option is best.

The new Scrubs premeired on the 1st December on ABC in the US, however it is watchable over teh intarwebz

After a little time of letting it settle in, I think I was too hard on the new season in the post above, season 9 isnt Scrubs as we remember it, but its a good attempt at it

especially the *ahem* 'guy love' scene xD (I wont reveal what I mean by that xD)

I'm completely fed up with it now. The quick scenes are getting more and more ludicrous. It's basically a sketch show. And JD is an almighty prick of a character. It took me awhile to realize this but he is a **** up who just constantly lets his friends down. Not helped by being played by a very unlikable actor.

And the show has reached the point where people come up to you quoting Janitor quotes you were trying to tell them six years ago.

The best way to look at the new seires, IMO, is how it was supposed to be, as a spin off
(Bill Lawrence wanted to name it Scrubs [Med School] by ABC said no) and try not to compare it to the better seires' (1-8)

I think it's just jumping the shark, like a lot of great shows do after a certain period. Get out while you can with your head high, basically.

See : The X-Files.

It's jumped more than the shark, fo' sure, but I just watched the second episode, it seemed a lot better laid out and less rushed than the opening one
