I've just been watching clips of it and it definitely doesn't feel like it was just last year.

Last years was so much better. There were so many 'wow' moments last year even as early as week 2

This year we're still waiting for one

I prefer this year tbh. Last year I only really liked Alexandra, but I wasn't passionate about her. Ruth too, who I voted for a few times. This year I haven't hated one act and I'm practically obsessed. :p

I'll be in the minority with that though....

None comparing with Purple Rain and Listen though which imo is the new benchmark. Nothing has come close to that.

It depends if you get behind an act enough or not. Atm I'm just giving blind support to Stacey and Danyl because he was alright last night. I don't really care if they get voted off.

this year is absolute tripe because it doesn't matter who wins out of the 3 with a chance [D, J & S] none of them are going to be successful. Inf act the sad truth is the ones with the most potential are also the ones least likely to win. They're all so ridiculously dull this year, there's no one with anything to them in the way Ruth, Diana, JLS or Laura had.

The people that I get behind and support never really get far, apart from a few.

G4 - Final (2nd)
Shayne Ward - Final (winner)
Eton Road - Week 7
Same Difference - Final (3rd)
Scott Bruton - Week 3
Lucie Jones - Week 5

I miss last year and two years ago, I really got behind some of the acts, this year's just been disappointing.

Louis has been successful with G4 and JLS. Eventhough they came 2nd.. really it is how they all succeed AFTER the x factor that matters.
