At the end with the wine when he fell he said 'Oh ****'. Nothing much really but it took me by surprise considering it's the X Factor.

Joe needs to win for XF sake, I dont think Olly has been good consistantly, even though tonight he was very good... as were Stacey and Joe.

I just said to Gary... Olly's votes are split between two groups..
Group1 - People who like him.
Group2 - People who don't want Joe to win.

Heres my dilemma,
I think Joes vocally great, and can sing live,
I think Olly isnt that good live.
But I think Olly will produce music that I prefer,
whereas I dont think Ill like Joes sort of style (bit Leon-y).
But tbf I think Id rather the better person win,
which is Joe.

They'll never go down the Leon route again, They tried to make a swing type singles selling artist with Leon and that just failed. I imagine him doing some sort of David Archuleta/Jesse McCartney type pop music myself. Due to the size of the audience this year I'll be surprised if he flops, I think he's gonna do the best out of all the male XF winners... but then again that's not saying much. As long as he gets good sales from his first album and they market him right he'll do well in the UK, He won't have the potential of Alexandra or Leona though.

Out of the 16m or so that watch X Factor, only about half a million actually buy stuff

Still 500,000 though, It's all about picking the right song for his first proper single. Leona and Alex both had pretty catchy debut songs while Leon's for example was drippy. The harest part of launching an artist is getting your 'foot in the door' since He'll be on X Factor next year all he needs to worry about is picking the right debut single. If you have the right song XF pretty much guarantees you a number 1 single.
He'll never have the success of Leona but I can see him doing decently for 2 or 3 (at the very most) albums.
