Every judge should have an act from every category. One over. One boy. One group. One girl

Good Idea :)

Oh and they should ditch the 2 day long shows and get rid of the retarded audition format

Hello :wavey:

I wouldnt change anything its fine how it is, people where already complaining about the live auditions this year so anymore change may put people off from wanting to watch, if it doesnt need fixing dont fix it. Also Dannii should stay for next year :)

I don't really like the two day thing anymore, I reckon it could all be done over a night, with the same format for the second show.

Same,
Its so frustrating not knowing who`ll go.

And I doubt tbh anyone votes on Sunday morning and afternoon.
All votes are made on Saturday and some on sunday night.

Keep the Sunday night result shows, but make the FINAL on Saturday only.

Bring back normal auditions, and if they have to sack a judge, bring back Sharon!

Would Sharron ever come back?

Move everything to Sunday nights

Admit they were wrong and scrap the live auditions

Bring back Xtra Factor 24/7 under the name 'The X Factor: 24/7' with the preview Xtra Factor show they used to do on a Friday night (both on a Saturday on ITV1 and ITV2 respectively)

Axe Cheryl in favour of Denise Van Outen and Dermot in favour of Kate Thornton

Have a performance at the start of the first show kicking off the theme (like they used to) with the second guest in the half hour results show

Have a dinosaur guest every week (ie someone like Lionel Richie or Tina Turner) and a current chart act

Allow people through who bring something different to the table so its more varied like series 5

Would Sharron ever come back?

If they offered her enough cash, and Dannii wasn't on the panel.

I can't see it happening though myself. :bored:

They wouldn't take Sharon back. The show only got bigger when she left!

The same probably would have happened if Dannii went tbh, I think it was Cheryl that gained new viewers, plus a very high standard

I don't think Sharon would come back anyway, shes gone on to bigger and better things

What does Sharron do now?

Is it American Idol?
I agree, if the rumours are true and cheryl does leave next year..
Then the Ratings will fall big time.

Yeah what I mean is that they wouldn't need Sharon now the show got bigger when she left, they'd just get an even bigger name now.

I don't think she's necessarily gone on to bigger things, she's still doing Americas Got Talent.

1. Replace the judges with composer/conductor Pierre Boulez, opera singer Susan Graham (charismatic diva, will probably fight with the others), motown star Smokey Robinson and comedian Frankie Boyle (we still need some nasty comments)

2. Ditch the live auditions... this isn't Britain's Got Talent

3. Make a sort of mini reality series out of the auditionees time at boot camp like in American Idol.

4. Make it so that viewers voting in the live shows will only rescue half of the contestants and leave it to the judges to decide which act to get rid of

5. NO.....MORE.....THEMES

Tom should be organising the next series of the X Factor, all of those ideas are excellent.

I would like to see Chris Moyles as a judge and also Station Officer Steele.

The sacking of the creepy child-catcher dance coach. Audience electrocuted if they shout over the first judge. A cheap happy hour bar at the audition-stage for those waiting to go on.

Top and tail ad sponsor to be Irn Bru.

i would have four judges with one from each category and one impartial judge who would be able to tell the truth to the acts rather than all this brown nosing because they are in the judges category

axe the live auditions

keep the saturday/sunday format but have the group performance opening the sat show

Public vote from week one.

Everything on the one night.. no matter whether it's Saturday or Sunday..

I reckon the sing off should stay but I don't think the judges should decide, over an ad break the public should decide who they want to save

With mentors and what not its a bit biased atm and sometimes a tad unfair. If it was Pop Idol format with a sing off Louis would not have kept J&E over Lucie (for example)

Similar to what Tom said, if they're doing the two night format again and are going to scrap the sing off, announce the bottom two on Saturday, public gets 24 hours to save one - they leave on Sunday.

I'd like to see a Wildcard round too if Simon's having 16 acts. The twelve that don't make it from the Judge's homes can be voted for by the public and one act from each category with the most votes goes through.

He could get an extra week out of that, think Pop Idol and American Idol middle stages where it goes live but it isn't in the main studio.

And if there are 16 acts next week, rather than extending the show I hope they split the 16 acts into two groups, 8 performing on Saturday with the results at the end, and the same on the Sunday with 2 in total going home each weekend. It might be a bit fairer too like the second or third one on stage out of 16 acts is at an obvious disadvantage, plus it would drag on.

Then they can join the groups up in week 4 or 5 when they're down to what the numbers would normally be. Make this the new big band week (make an event of it).
