You have to admit, the males don't have a very good track record on this one. None of Leon Jackson's singles were any good and the less said about Steve, Shane or Andy the better.

Is it possible Joemight be allowed to collaborate with some respectable songwriters and musicians like Diana Vickers? (as I was shocked to find).

What do you think. Will his album be a hit or just a glorified charity record?

Will Young is the only male winner of one of these show who actually did very well, He has some great songs, does he write himself does anyone know?

Simon's said he's going to take his time with Joe, like with Leona and Alexandra. Plus I'm sure Simon sees huge potential in the US, because he has that pure image that teens eat up over there.

Leon wasn't that good a singer, Andy's age probably went against him, Shane - was a good singer and we may yet hear more from him - Joe has the potential to fit into 2 or 3 markets - more adapatable. He has an excellent, unique sounding voice with total control and could do very well in either pop, theatre or perhaps swing music and be the next Buble. He has youth, good looks and nice personality - he will be around for a long time me thinks.

Well, I was a big Olly fan but I hope Joe does well, he does have a fantastic voice, best of luck to him!

See this is my worst fear. Joe will have no lasting appeal if he goes down the Buble-style lounge pop route. I know it seems to stupid to be even watching or talking about the X-Factor if you hate schlagermusik like Buble, because that's pretty much all the show represents, but it would be at least reassuring if Joe was allowed to take some control over his career. An opportunity that Leona, for instance, was never given.
