BB10 is one to look back on

I hated it when it was on air, but now when I think back I quite miss it. I think its one of them series' that isn't really appreciated when its on, but it was actually really good. Not the best, but nowhere near as bad as I rated it in the summer.

The whole Sophia v Saffia stuff, Noirin attempting to shag everyone, Kenneth-gate, the rise and fall of Lisa, Siavash and Bea (not together obv), Marcus ..., Charlie & Rodrigo, Sophie & Kris, Sophie coming from nowhere to win it and Sree just being Sree. As well as memorable moments such as Hira eating the cake (one of her two entertaining moments) and David/Lisa's trip to London.

Does anyone who hated the series at the time think the same as me?

IMO BB8 Should of got the BB10 ratings, BB10 deserved abit more viewers, and BB10 should of atleast got BB8s Ratings.

If you can judge the next 9 months of BB based on the changing of an ad campaign and fundamental logo, then I think its going to be a good one.

When they break the mould it usually pays off. They just haven't done it for a few years.

It was extremely underrated, and many people missed out on what was an excellent series.

The producers were lucky that they picked a brilliant cast, as the production was piss poor. Without them it would've been terrible. But yes, one of my favourite series and I still miss it.

Vintage series it was. I fondly remember watching it spaced out every hot summer night. Big Brother 10 is like wine, baby, it gets better with time.

People saying it was a great cast is laughable.. BB10 probably had one of the best 1st week's in Big Brother History. Loved the twist at the beginning but shame the producers got lazy and the twists went downhill from then on and then stupid housemates were BLOCK VOTING. Freddie, Marcus and Angel were great housemates. Most of the others were as dull as dishwasher. However I did enjoy the massive arguments that occured in the Alice in Wonderland task :thumbs: Especially the tension between Freddie and Lisa (Freddie getting his own back) and Marcus calling David a twat and that argument escalating! lol. Oh I did like it when Marcus stuck up to Lisa as well in week 2 I think. I think maybe Saffia should not have left? and Sophia gone too early.. them 2 were arguing in the first week! They should have both stayed I think.

However Sophia and Freddie were up for evicition in week 1. It could have been better if the better housemates did not go early. For bb11 there needs to be twists in nomination. Also if the public vote to SAVE every week, boring housemates are more likely to be booted out first!

I did like it when Charlie got that gun out and pretended to shoot people in the KEBAB shop. That just came out of nowhere. Also when he said "the whole time, the whole time, THE WHOLE TIME". Eventhough that part was a bit acted up I think but hey ho. Suppose they all had their moments, sorry for being bitter about bb10 the other day. Just that lots of people auditioned on you tube and that and I just think the producers could have chosen more entertaining people but hey ho.. roll on bb11 :D

I didn't like Sree but he did have a role to play early on in the series and the Noirin story. Rodrigo though just had the fake Charlie relationship, his tantrums and the Queen task which was set up by Endemol for him.

But the entertainers did get quite far in BB10. Freddie lasted for quite a while, Marcus nearly got to the last week. When Noirin went there was still Bea and the conflicts that generated.

The immediate victim of the tabloid fury over CBB5 was Emily. The Twins I don't think could ever have become famous, just one dimensional and that's why they were made into one HM (unfairly) in the end. Brian and Charley were probably not that multi-dimensional either.

I wouldn't blame Jade (or her mother, who made me laugh) for the problems in CBB5. The tabloids had profited from BB and now they saw the chance to profit from killing it. But the tabloid always overrate their power and they didn't kill it. Endemol should have more careful of their editing of CBB5 though so they didn't make it a show with just one story like they did. It wasn't the first or the last time that within the Big Brother game a HM got isolated but they underestimated how some would use it to use it for political issues in that particular case.

I was skeptical to watch this season because people said bad things about it but i'm on Week Five and I LOVE it so far. Every episode is entertaining.

It had it's moments of greatness. The opening week's twist was just SO dull and pointless though at least it got rid of Beinazir. There was so great tasks also.

The cast had a lot of potential. Bea, Marcus, Angel, Rodrigo, Noirin, Freddie [until he turned sour in the last week or so] and Lisa were all fantastic housemates. It had a really great winner and I actually really enjoyed the final week. The anniversary year was good too.

The only things that let it down were their support of that absolutely VILE human being Charlie, he tainted the show for me. And also the terrible execution of the twists.

Dale was fit. And Rachel is a family friend of mine. And the nicest person to have ever gone into the BB house. She stood up for all her friends in there, made me smile everyday whilst watching her, and triumphed to be the best BB winner ever. :angel:

But I agree, had the reviews and media coverage been better for BB10 It would of gone down as one of the best but people just blanked it out and didnt give it a chance just like they did with BB9.

It did have great moments, but the tasks were over used and every week was the same, they picked a country, they put **** flags around the house and acted 'the culture' out.

The Housemates made it great.

And it did have one of the most amazing intense evictions ever.
When Marcus and Noirin went head to head, utterly brilliant.

I loved when TiBB Devided that week into Marcus fans and Noirin fans.
Was brilliant, I still remember the Friday I was so nervous because Marcus was the favourite to go and the Nora & Marcus fans were fighting on here LOL

And then when Marcus survived I was so happy.

I just finished the season, and I absolutely loved it! Out of all the BBUK's i've seen so far this was my favorite. The last week and the finale was really emotional and I love that everyone really came together. It was very emotional. I loved every minute of this series! I'm really sad it's over :(
