Well, it depends what you consider good I suppose. I mean I fully appreciate the fact that Leona has an outstanding voice but it's not the sort of voice/music that I personnally enjoy listening to. I'd much rather listen to Laura Whites voice for example eventhough I know Leona can hit more notes etc I just like the sound of Lauras more

No..........and it's a pity that Dannii didn't try and get Stacey to sing something other than big ballads. Her Coldplay song in week one was one of my favourites. She could have been 'edgy' if given a chance to be.

They will probably treat Leona like they do with Kelly Clarkson... she can never get rid of the title of 'The original American Idol'. And everyone is compared to her.

But doesnt that mean that she could do much better internationally, when i listen to kelly i dont really think about the fact shes the original american idol winner, whereas the yanks probably do, leona i do think of the x factor, but do the yanks

Well considering no one knew who Leona was before she auditioned, and no one really paid much attention to her until late on, I wouldn't rule it out.

It could happen. The chance is extremely small but there's still a chance, so who knows?

Who knows what kinds of talent are denied at the producers rounds.. we may have had someone better than Leona and Alexandra put together.. but because the producers are looking for entertainment over talent, we wont know.

That's very true! I find it very hard to believe that the 12 that made it to the live shows were the absolute best singers in Britain!!

Rofl, she was terrible really, too small of a big voice to compete with the other belters and just dull.

I don't think anyone will beat her success but we'll get better artists then her (maybe someone who isn't tripped up by up tempo songs?)

Leona can't sing uptempo songs for ****, not that I'm actually comparing Rachel and Leona here

One person I respect from that kind of show is Will Young from Pop Idol, he went on to write his own stuff and that. These winners don't now, they are totally controlled.
