X Factor contestant Lucie Jones has been signed to a top modelling agency, it has been announced.
Select Model Management have helped launch the careers of top models such as Agyness Deyn and Stella Tennant.
Jones, 18, who was voted off the ITV1 show in November, said she was "very flattered" to have been asked to sign to the company.
Select co-founder Chrissie Castagnetti said: "When we first saw Lucie we recognised that she had a great look."
She added: "As her confidence grew week after week, and her personality came through, we knew that we wanted to work with her."
Jones will do a professional photo shoot in the new year with a view to lining up modelling work, Select said.
The Welsh teenager, who was mentored by Dannii Minogue, was one of the favourites to reach the X Factor final.
However, in week five she found herself in the bottom two, and lost out to twins John and Edward.
