He's sold 300,000+ singles, regardless of his placing that's still a rampaging success in the eyes of Record bosses. The Higher ups don't care about where you come in the charts, only the sales matter and Joe's sold loads. He's not got the Christmas number 1 (probably not anyway) but it's guaranteed he'll go to number 1 next week and he's still had one of the best selling singles of the year.

He hasn't bombed or failed yet so there isn't much point in getting upset.:)

Blame simon Cowell, if Joe's song was any good it wouldn't have lost. Simon's responsible for the decision to make it the same song every year and now it's bitten him on the arse.

He'll almost definitely get #1 next week, I expect most who were willing to download it already have so RATM will fall out the chart, but X Factor winners singles hold up for a few weeks
