Useless. The judge denied his request to enter the house. :(

It's a pointless endeavor, the courts won't pay attention to a few names on a forum.

The programme's producers are understood to have offered to accommodate his special circumstances, such as permitting him to be visited in the house by his probation officer, but London Probation declined his request.
The service declined to comment in detail, but is expected to argue in court that permitting O'Dowd to appear would undermine confidence in the judicial service; it is also thought to have concerns on behalf of his victim.
I copied and pasted this part of the guardian.co.uk article.
Apparently By George is meant to fight for his right to go into Big Brother.. but I don't know when he is going to court again??
Yeah Lili, he did community service back in 2006 when he made a phonecall about a burgarly which did not happen.
CaptainRemy is still not answering me. He has no evidence that Boy George is DEFINATELY NOT going into BB!
I will cling onto HOPE then :D

They added: “London Probation is defending its position and it is not appropriate to comment further before the outcome of the judicial review”.
It is a no at the moment but they could still make an exception and change their minds..
For **** sake, a great celebrity was ready to go in and this political correctness **** happens. Boy George could go into the house with his tag on? FOR **** SAKE!

Why should he. A regular applicant on probation would be rejected at the first stages of the auditions for a regular series.

This isn't a regular series, is it?
Don't think too much of Boy George myself but he would be a great housemate so I hope they rule in favour of him tommorow morning. A petition wont change a thing though.

It's not about the show though - it's about the law, and the law is more important.

That's rather abstract.
If he is allowed in the house it will be legally. He won't be breaking any laws.

His real name is hardly Boy George mong boy. And the court, as pointed out already, won't pass final decision until tommorow morning.

The judge has not made any decision yet. He will find out tomorrow:
Boy George to learn his fate
Boy George will find out his fate tomorrow regarding him making an appearance on the final ever Celebrity Big Brother.
The ex-culture club singer is currently free under licence after serving four months of his 15 month sentence which he got for assaulting and imprisoning a male escort.
Boy George, who’s real name is George O’Dowd, has admitted to the high court that his heroin addiction, plus other substances, had ‘got him into trouble’ which made him behave in a manner that was ‘appalling’. The star also admitted that he ‘wholly deserved’ the sentence he got dealt for his actions.
Mr Justice Bean who is the judge that is hearing the case has said that he will give his ruling about the overturn on his curfew tomorrow (Wednesday the 23rd) after hearing the arguments from lawyers representing the ex-culture club singer in London.
Boy George has already agreed a £200,000 fee to take part in the show according to multiple tabloids and sources, so this is matter of ‘make or break’ for George says a source.

I sign the petition, even though I don't think it will help.
