DEREK'S CONFESSION: I WENT TOFF MEN
Gay Tory didn't fancy even one of male housemates -He fantasised about women for first time ever

GAY Tory speechwriter Derek Laud has told how Big Brother almost turned him STRAIGHT.

The flamboyant fox-hunter - 11th to be axed from the house - says he started fantasising about women for the first time in his life after being locked up for 71 days with male housemates who turned him off.

To prove it, the squealing toff got to grips with 20-year-old Kinga Karolczak's 44FF breasts before his eviction on Friday.

Derek, 40 - who has a long-term male lover - reveals: "While I was in the house I was imagining myself as a heterosexual, something I'd never done in my life before. It's conceivable that some woman would want me, but I didn't want anybody in the house.

"Kinga's boobs were amazing. They felt like the best pillow I've ever put my head on. They were real, so much better than Orlaith's."

He adds: "I didn't fancy Maxwell. Roberto was very handsome but didn't have much sex appeal - he didn't look like he could throw you around enough.

"I think I'd rather look forward to an early retirement in Baghdad than sleep with any of the men in the house."

But he was shocked at the lengths some housemates went to to relieve their sexual frustrations.

Loudmouth Kinga caused outrage last week when she appeared to pleasure herself on national television with a wine bottle.

Derek squirms: "The only thing I didn't understand about the bottle incident was people like me had been in the house for 10 weeks and felt sexually frustrated. But she had just come into the house and I thought, 'God she's got a bad sex life if she's got to do it with a bottle on day two in the Big Brother house!'"

Bitchy Derek also has a new spin on the relationship between Craig, 20, and Anthony, 23... Anthony fancies Craig.

"I think it's Anthony who can't live without Craig," Derek says.

"He cannot be out of touching distance of Craig. He follows Craig around - not the other way around. Craig is a young man discovering himself. And if Anthony has helped him come out on national TV then that is something that we can all admire in Anthony."

Derek likened his eviction from the Big Brother house to Nelson Mandela being freed from prison. But the controversial housemate - nicknamed Dark Destroyer - now faces a huge backlash after his shocking slur involving the racist BNP party in the diary room.

Talking about Science, 22, in week seven, Derek told BB: "He is the first black person to make me want to support the BNP."

Last night he refused to apologise for his statement. He says: "I'm not afraid of my own views. I don't regret anything I said to anyone and there's nothing I would take back." He denies there was any racial tension in the house. "In the very early stages there were one or two comments made with racial overtones. But I don't think there was anybody there with a racist bone in their body."

Derek - who has aspirations to become a TV presenter - was just one week away from the final and the chance of winning the £100,000 prize. But he insists he was "delighted to be on the other side of the prison wall" to celebrate his 41st birthday on Tuesday. It appears that his heterosexuality was shortlived - because instead of sticking around for Friday's grand finale he is jetting off on holiday to Sardinia - with his long-term partner.

He does, however, have his own opinion on who should win. He says it should be his geeky pal Eugene Sully, 27 - likening him to a superhero.

"Eugene is clearly very eccentric and barmy and exotic," he says. "He could be a very good role model." But Derek wasn't as kind about Orlaith McAllister, 24 - who walked out of the house last week citing Derek's bullying as a reason - and Makosi Musambasi.

Of Makosi, he said: "She's really suited to the stage rather than the Big Brother house."

And of Orlaith he bitched: "I don't think Orlaith was suited for the Big Brother house experience - you have to be tougher."
