Ignore list

I hate that you can still see when someone from your ignore list posts. The reason why I ignore someone is because I don't want to see them... AT ALL.

Is there nothing you can do about this to make this more efficient?

Edit: Oh and I can see their post if someone has quoted them!? Ridiculous!

I agree it used to annoy me too.

I used to have four people on ignore because they really got on my tits during BB, I would get soo mad at their posts.

Mostly everyone is tolerable and I can stand reading their posts without wanting to jab my eyes out. You've got to be really "special" to make it to my ignore list.

Winds me up as well, on some forums you don't get any of that. When you ignore someone you want it to be as if they literally don't exist anymore.

Think the ignore list is to prevent PMs and Visitor messages only.

The forum program isnt really capable of removing posts for individuals based on you preferring not to see what stuff they post as it stands. Mind you its helpful to see what others post as it confirms the reasons why you would ignore them etc.

I never understood that either, I only ever had one person on ignore, because they would wind me up so much, but having them on ignore was pointless, because i could still see everything when it was quoted...obviously i cant have people on ignore now...

I dont want to be able to see if they have posted, I mean they could be insulting you right there and you would be like in the same thread and not have a clue, I'd rather just ignore them completely as if they arent even born.

Actually I think if you are on someones ignore list then you can't see their profile properly.
So thats one way of working it out
