Yeah, we were really happy a rapist actually won an actual award, and we were happy specificaly because of all the rape business. You hit it bang on.
Christ, fair enough if dark humor isin't your thing, but millions of people a week watch shows like Mock The Week. Some of us have the ability to find these things humorous, so don't take some daft moral highground.
It does not mean we support what Josef actually did, therefore we are not being offensive in the slightest, really.

The ironic thing is Hitler absoloutely dwarfed Fritzl for the amount of rotten things he done, but people make fun of Hitler all the time and nobosy would have gotten offended if he won! :rolleyes:

I was reffering to Shaun. You are of course more than entitled to consider what we did riddiculous. But it was a joke. Rendering it free of all actual support towards the act of incest. A joke. Nothing more. I realise and respect that it's not everyones cup of tea, but it's not offensive in the slightest in my opinion, considering it only offended those who chose to be offended because they personally did not find it funny.

I think you are grossly missing out on the great irony in it then. Of course it's not a coup that an Austrian incest king has won person of the decade, and that's the exact reason people are trumping it up so much. It is juvenile but that's the point. Multiple threads are because the original thread got locked and me and Patrick both made a thread wondering why at the same time.
