He had like the heart burn sort of heart attack, rather that a really painful one, so he took some gaviscon (sp) and the pain went away, so he did just think he had heart burn, but next thing he kept collapsing and that, poor bloke, early on xmas morning too so he couldnt spend it with his grand kids.

I am indeed. All my family are there. I just got a flat 5 mins from the city centre and I am looking forward to going and re-visiting some of my old haunts. A few of them have survived after all these years. Lol.

Yeah Levenshulme is not far. I have never seen Oasis live. I imagine they were great. It's been a long time since I have been out there. The Hacienda is all flats now. :(

Yeah. The centre itself went through a lot of re-generation due to the bombing. In recent years there have been loads of new apartment blocks put up too. It has gone through so much change but it has retained so many of its original features. The bombing happened close to the Arndale centre.

I was just glad they gave them warning and they had time to get everyone out. Thankfully nobody died. I lived about 20 mins out of the centre at the time and I felt the shock from the blast.

Yeah there were people who were injured but they got everyone out and there were no fatalities. It was quite scary driving around the outskirts of town at that time. There were roadblocks around and a heavy presence of police. As would be expected.
