Ronnie Wood's ex-girlfriend has claimed that he launched unprovoked attacks on her and left her fearing for her life.
Ekaterina Ivanova, 21, told The Sun that the Rolling Stone rocker has a "Jekyll and Hyde" character, fuelled by his "destructive boozing".
The one-time waitress said that the relationship became so bad that she tried to hang herself in both Paris and London with one of the 62-year-old's neck ties.
"At my lowest I think I really wanted to die, but none of the attempts were that serious," she said. "I felt so low but whenever I tried to talk to Ronnie he'd just say, 'I love you, you’re beautiful, why don't we go shopping?' I felt he wouldn't take me seriously at all.
"I just wanted to talk to the person I loved about how I was feeling."
The couple parted ways last month after Wood accepted a police caution for assaulting Ivanova.
