Two or Three.
Why do people still care about the XF :joker:
Its funny how CBB7 has like 90 Viewers on its thread.
And XF has about 8 now.

Well lets be honest,
Simon Cowell is leaving after this year, then Cheryl is leaving the year after him most likely.

Holly has left Xtra Factor, Dermot wont be around for long.
Its all going to fall apart once Simon leaves.

After the complete overkill of Britain's Got Talent and X Factor this year, I think after the next series of Britain's Got Talent the ratings are going to bomb for both shows

I think the next BGT will be the 'BB7' of Cowell's reality shows

Yeah. I'd hazard a guess at the format being revamped and it returning under a different name the following year, though, like what happened with Pop Idol etc. But in saying that reality TV as a whole is on the downfall, so it could see the end for at least a few years.

Its going to be around for years though. Even if half the viewers who watched this year don't watch it next year, thats still about 9m viewers every week which is basically where it was in 2006. Theres a VERY long way to go yet

You have to remember that X Factor has just kept getting bigger and bigger each year. Both BGT/XF will have massive hype around them next year because of how successful they were last season. People will be tunning into BGT to see if there's another Susan Boyle breakout (which imo, is why the ratings were so huge) and XF because it's must see television.

I think it'll have two/three more seasons - it depends how well the winners/acts do and how successful it continues to be. Simon said that before Leona became huge he was losing interest in the show. If Alex/Joe/Leona can have continued success, as well as next years bunch, I see no reason why he'll stop it or not carve out another reality talent show.

Not for at least another 3 years. The ratings could drop like a bomb and there would still be more than every other itv show.

Judging by the success of American Idol... even though they are different countries and shows, I am going to guess it will still be going in its tenth season.
