I appeal to them not to do to others what you would not like yourself. It is not nice to lock threads without good reason, especially not those who do not offend anyone.
Thank you

You have 3 posts, why are you already antagonizing mods?

You have 3 posts, why are you already antagonizing mods?
Exactly what i was thinking...
Exactly what i was thinking...
And anyway, read the rules and thread's may not be locked.
The rules are there for a reason.
You have 3 posts, why are you already antagonizing mods?
I managed it in far less time than that. I'm pretty sure I was warned on my first post .
Anyway, the reason your thread was closed was because it was in a different language, although personally I agree it should have been left open. You might only have been asking in your native tongue do others speak it. Wasn't doing any harm.

04-01-2010, 08:35 PM
Actually ... I only suggest ...
Vicky.
04-01-2010, 08:51 PM
Yeah, well, we get a lot of accounts that are made just to spam, a lot of them making their first post in another language.
I highly doubt many people on here speak serbian either anyway, so that conversation wouldnt have gone very far.
Try to make posts in english, since this is an english speaking site.
Not much use spamming without a link in your post ...

Ahh it's open season. Let the complaining commence.

It is a matter of access, there were several Englishmen who came to the Forum Serbian BB without any problems and we communicate oin English and there were no negative comments.
Anyway, your game - your rules
Callum
04-01-2010, 09:43 PM
I don't think you'll find many members who speak your language on the forum though so technically a lot of people wouldn't have been able to understand what you posted, it probably wasn't but it could have been offensive and nobody would have known.
There appears to have been a misunderstanding here, boniboni ..... we do get lots of spam posts in foreign languages on the Forum.
Unfortunately I don't think we have any other Serbian speakers here, so no-one was able to translate your first post and it was locked as a precaution.
Your English communication is excellent - are you taught in at school?
Welcome to the Forum. :wavey:

@Kaz thanks
In fact, long ago I finished school, my job took me to many countries, so that it contributed to my English is better.

Posts that are entirely in text talk, are usually deleted.
If not deleted, then they are edited.

That's of no use to people who don't understand text talk.
Its no use to people who dont understand text talk if we delete the posts, or edit them to use real words?
Ok then...
But if most of the post is normal typing, with 'wtf' or 'lol' or something at the end, that is generally left...
That is nowhere near the same as making a whole post in another language that not many people are likely to understand...
Yet obviously if there is a post such as 'omgz i h8 ppl hoo typ lyk dis roflmao' it will be deleted....

It could just as easily be claimed that those using lots of text talk should learn to speak English on a UK forum. They are in no position to have a go at others!

Obviously you didnt, as you posted the same thing as another member did, obviously you would get the same response....
Text speech is either edited, or deleted in general. Unless it is on the end of a longer post in 'normal' writing...in which case it is usually left.
Same as the original locked post...if the message was in english with a little serbian on the end, it would have been fine, as people would know what the poster was talking about. As it happens, it was all in a language that I doubt more than a couple of people, if any, on here know.
Surely you see the difference
Vicky.
04-01-2010, 11:46 PM
Stu, the original message was actually asking, in serbian, if anyone spoke serbian ;)

Giving my opinion - it is a debate forum! Other members have passed comment before on that members constant text talk - but it doesn't stop them - so they shouldn't criticise others. Not particularly bothered either way - as I said - don't like double standards!

You would have a point, but adding 'lol' or 'wtf' at the end of a message is totally different to making a whole post in another language...or a whole post in 'txt spch' and abbrieviations.

UK BB is very popular in my country and he is regularly monitored. I think that you haven't properly understood the intentions of Miss Boniboni. Her idea was to see how many Serbian fans follow this forum but not encountered by understanding your moderator. You have your rules and that's it :)
