Any news on when the first eviction will take place, and how nominees will be determined? I'd imagine it will be very soon as the show is only 27 days long with at least 11 contestants.
Also, who does everyone think it will be? I know it's very early to tell, but no harm in a guess, nothing to lose.
I fear it may be Heidi, but I REALLY want a man out first

I think they do one every Friday until the last week, when they'll do 1 or 2 "suprise" evictions before the final.

For a 5 people final they need rid of 6, they have 3 Friday evictions (one double) plus a double eviction on the Tuesday of the final week and that should do the trick.

They never get the evictions right in CBB and rather than working on a half-week cycle they seem to pretend it's a regular series the first couple of weeks, then suddenly seem to realise they've got 10 HMs left and just a week to go!
Friday is the right time frame for the first eviction, but from then on ideally they'd be evictions twice a week through to the final. That would be 6 eviction shows before the final, which would work fine.
However, as things stand it doesn't look like the second eviction will be until next Friday.

I would have hoped today so they're screened tomorrow, but it seems unlikely. Unfortunately the producers don't value the process as much as the viewers and last years Celeb series had just two regular rounds of nominations.

It's ridiculous how they keep having so many housemates in the final week. Ideally, only 4 people should be in the final.
Also they need to do nominations properly! That is an important part of the show which fans enjoy. I bet they'll do silly things to get people nominated instead of the usual procedure. This is one of the reasons why the show's dying.

Oh my god - a post of yours I actually agree with.

I agree with whats been said - but then again, I can see that from the eyes of a producer, they've paid £200K for some of these housemates, so they'll want to keep them in for as long as possible so that they get their money's worth out of them.
Also, the series is only 27 days long so the more housemates they keep in for that long, the better the chance of some of them housemates arguing, flirting ...etc. It makes sense to keep them in together for as long as possible before starting evictions.

They shouldn't put as many into start with though - don't know why they always go for 11 HMs when 10 would be enough and there is always a choice of nobodies they could easily drop.

They can't do Weds/Fri due to the crowd though

Unless there is a big thaw by Friday, wouldn't be surprised at all if the eviction (well, eviction crowd) got cancelled on Friday due to the difficulties of getting a crowd in. I'd imagine any eviction would go ahead without a crowd though, rather than being cancelled completely.
Phil and Holly were talking a lot on This Morning about Dancing on Ice and their concerns about getting in and out of Elstree.
