I live 5 mins away from the coast (in Edinburgh) and we usually don't get too much snow because of that... oh how things can change!

A foot of snow which thick ice underneath. Buses cancelled or running at 20mph. Our car isn't able to get out of the drive way either.

It's like a ghost town!
