I just flicked on the light in my room and the bulb, along with the lampshade, just popped to the floor. Like what happens when a bulb runs out, except the bulb actually ripped from it's black little top, which is still loged in the ceiling, and crashed to the floor.

This ever happen to anybody? I have a little electricity phobia as it is. I hope I don't have to live in ****ing darkness!

What the hell? What was it?

That's a weird one. Just switch off the electricity at the mains and pop another bulb in and see what happens.

Hey, I know you're a gamer and I watched a great flick over the hols called King of Kong. Have you seen it?

Haven't I'm afraid. Had to stop the gaming too. I'm on a tight budget these days and the dosh has to go towards either music or reading material.

It's a great documentary on retro gaming and the sub culture that's developed from it. So many Napoleon Dynamite wannabes. Hilarious stuff and the story is riveting and affecting. It's on youtube to watch.

What do you mean by trip the electricity?

Yes, it is a cheap bulb. I have reliably been informed now that this stuff dosn't happen with energy saving bulbs.
