Stephen was getting a bit over the top... but its true, Oxygen does work... but how are we supposed to believe the other stuff like evoloution and the bible?

I don't think a real debate with Stephen is possible. The chap like 'some' born again Christians is using Christianity in a warped way to survive his own addictive personality. He is simply unable to see any other way.
In a way he is still an addict, he just 'simply' and I say simply literally, using religion in a typically bastardised way as to keep himself on the straight and narrow. The fella is still addicted and has no understanding of the nature of his own addictive nature.
Religion + addict + simple = Born again victim / Christian.

If Baldwin is allowed such privileges why not give Heidi a copy of Richard Dawkins book.
Also baldwin hasn't got a clue what evolution means. His stuff about apes is so wrong.

Its really easy to give a rebuttal to what Stephen is trying to say, but not with that moronic answer. Its very simple, take away the bible and nothing happens. put a person in a chamber, drain the oxygen, and see what happens, would be the simple answer.

Actually, it's not as simple as you imagine. The air we breathe is about 21% oxygen with the rest made up of nitrogen, argon, carbon dioxide, neon, helium, methane, krypton, hydrogen and xenon. If you were breathing pure oxygen, chances are you wouldn't last very long. Of course I wouldn't expect Alex or Steven to know that. They're not exactly the sharpest pencils in the box.

I agree. Not sure if you are suggesting that religion can be an addiction....In my view religion can be nothing else but an addiction of the mind accepting the ridiculous.....

Deliverance, I agree with you. He's channelled his addictive nature into religion instead of booze and drugs.
From his demeanour, I also think he could be a latent homosexual man, suppressing and beating his gay tendencies down with a bible. The fact that he married so young was probably an attempt to curb his sexuality.
Regarding evolution, how stupid was his statement regarding apes and 'why are they still here?' Watch 'Life on Earth' by David Attenborough and you'll understand that a huge quantity of animals are still here because evolution is literally survival of the fittest. And we're not decendent from chimps - chimps and humans evolved separately from a comment ancestor, hence the general consensus that we are cousins.
Stephen Alex, Katia and Nicola out, Jonas, Sisqo, Lady Sov or Heidi to win.

Of course people are living proof that oxygen works. This is clear to anybody who isn't a complete religious dolt.

They never allowed it for anyone else. They did it so that he'd appear on the show, end of.
What I don't like is that Stephen is spouting this view of evolution that is completely untrue. Humans didn't evolve from apes; humans and apes are closely related species that evolved from a common ancestor due to diversifying natural selection, a process by which a possibly environmental change caused only organisms on the extreme ends of an allele frequency graph to survive and reproduce. Evolution has NOTHING to do with creationism.
