I have been watching, not going to well is it? I think the main hope is Nathan Douglas in the triple jump.

Yay someone els eis watching...

Erm Fernzy,he got knocked out this morning,he didn't jump the qualifying distance nor did he make the top 12 so he is out.

Ah great :mad: I missed it this morning, I cannot believe he is out. Let me guess Marlon Devonish and Christian Malcolm are out of the 200m and Tim Benjamin is out of the 400m lol.

We did so well at the olympics but this is just dismal.

Olympics is other events dan i.e rowing, sailing, boxing even at Olympics we only won 4 medals Kelly holmes 2 Kelly Sotherton bronze and relay

Yer I know there are more events at the Olympics but the perfomances were better from the track and field athletes.

I suppose but if you take Kelly Holmes out of the equation we only got two medals. If we even get 2 here that would be great

It would be great but in terms of people making the finals of event's it's not been good.

I keep hearing about it one the radio and I agree with the people who say we pump loads of money into the stars of athletics and we get very little back. Instead of giving the money to the stars we should give it clubs and the children that will be the future stars in the London Olympics and win some medals for a change.

Yep and boy did I laugh at them...they always have baton changing problems,theres hope for a medal yet.

And of course Paula and Jo Pavey might nab a bronze..

Yeah that's a good performance...considering he hasn't been around like as long as others.

Looking good for the realy team as long as they get that baton around and erm,Paula aswell,may get some medals.:thumbs:

Yeah I really thought they would have got gold...shame because everything kinda went their way with the Yanks going out and all.

And Jo Pavey was very disappointing,she came last.All that's left really is Paula and maybe the womens 4x400 could nab a bronze too.

It was pretty promising only one of the lads did not run that well but I think Benjamin will come in for him. Malachi Davis was the most impressive, he seems to do better in the relays.

It was still the slowest heat thouh by a whole second and a bit.

Helen Clitheroe was quite disappointing in the 1500 today,but congrats to Paula,she did excellent.

Looking forward to the two relays now tonight,should be good.I wouldn't rule out the women,Lee McConnel is a great athlete and on the opening leg she could do some damage.

Goldie Sayers won't compete thopugh with 2 70m throws in the javelin,shame cos she looked good in qualifying.:bored:

Yep well done to them and a little well done to the men's 4x400 team on 4th place in a pretty strong final with a young team, it's a season's best and also the best time we have run in 8 years.
