Whats Your Opinions On Vinnie?

He seems to be the hot gossip housemate with a lot of people loving him and worshiping him like God, and a lot finding him quite intimadating towards Alex and quite boring and therefore dont really like him. So what do you think of Vinnie Jones?


I find him an alright guy, but being way overrated. I was expecting a lot from him with the hype he got when rumoured, but he has failed to deliver much. He comes out with a few funny one-liners, but I am 1 who finds him quite intimadating towards Alex, and he can be quite boring and controlling. But overall at the moment I find him ok. :)

Obviously I don't like him - and personally don't find it entertaining watching someone trying to exercise his own insecurity demons in this way.

I also thought its was ok and quite amusing bringing Alex back down when he was off on one getting a big head, but lately Ive been warming to him and hes not that bad at all, and Vinnie just appears to give him stick for no apparent reasons now..

It never ceases to amaze me how people come on hear and call Vinnie a thug and a bully but never ever give a sensible reason why. If he came across as weak willed and a wimp would you like him then? He was helping Alex with his training in the garden while the whole house looked on saying what a decent guy he was. Does that sound like housemate's who feel threatened and intimidated? It doesn't to me and I haven't seen or heard anything to suggest otherwise. He comes across as being anything but a thug and and bully, but there again people only see what they want to see and just let their prejudices take over. My opinion of Vinnie is that he needs to be the boss and control things, if by humiliating someone gains him control of them then this is far better than someone being able to humiliate him.

Couldnt have put it better myself---He acts so much older than he actually is.All the oldies seem to have forgotten what its like to be young and have no tolerance -I am the same age as snotty Steph but I can remember being a air head most of the time.Without Sov and Kat it could be a tad booring---but I wonder who they'd use as the scapegoat then--probably Alex he is a prime target for bullies---no wonder Jordan hooked up with him--he is easily manipulated.:yuk:

I love the way people start laying into housemates, and quoting garbage like it has to be true, Vinnies a bully blah blah blah, Steph's stuck up,blah blah blah, because of what they have seen on the highlights show, plus their own little prejudices.

They dont go and look for proof, they dont look for redeeming features.

But the best one I like is when you ask them why they have said what they have about a housemate, the best reply is coz I say, or that's wot I fink.
