It is now widely known that all newspapers and magazines make their horoscopes up or syndicate from an aggregate source that employs the same method.

Can there really be anyone on Tibb who takes them seriously?

Yep, but the downside to that is that you sometimes take into account other people's feelings more than your own, and as a consequence can be manipulated a little by not wanting to hurt others. My sis drives me nuts with that.

Yeh I guess it could be really, I can see how if the moon and planets affects what happens on earth then the alignment of the planets when your born could have some influence...interestingly most of my friends are Taurus's and Pisces always found that weird.

You should take a note of the kinda moods your in every day and see if it has any connection with the moon. You'll be surprised with your findings cuz I'm always much energetic and high spirited when we're approaching a full moon. Mental stuff.

There was once the case where a newspaper in error published a previous week's horroscope and nobody noticed.

Horroscopes are not harmless and they give people excuses to try and abbrogate responsibilities for their actions or inactions. I did or did not do it because of my horroscope

I refuse to read them. I do know my nominal star sign, but I am not ruled by it.

I take the weekly horoscopes with a pinch of salt, they're designed to make you think "ah, that sounds like me!". I find astrology very interesting though, and I like to believe there is some truth behind it.

I think the important thing to remember here is there is a huge difference between commercial horoscopes and the esoteric tradition of Astrology itself.
