Yes, another marvellous twist on the ______ albums style threads!

Depeche Mode - Speak & Spell - Well, it's nothing like the bands later output. A very poppy affair because this was back in the Vince Clarke days. He left after this album to form Yazoo with Alison Moyet and later Erasure with Andy Bell. Master of the three finger synthpop melodies.

Might do more later.

There's quite a lot to go with for Bowie...but 'Tonight' wins for me. D&B is not your thing, David. Oh and the 'God Only Knows' cover is terrible.

Probably, Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants - Oasis

Kelly Clarkson - Thankful

Because it was her American Idol debut... her more creative and fun stuff came later.

Neil Young - The Unplugged one he did for MTV which I felt was a very listless performance from him. Real by the numbers show.

Girls Aloud - What Will The Neighbours Say?

As much as I love it, it's the one I listen to least. Yet, probably their most overplayed album in terms of promotion, gigs, concerts etc. Argh, as I'm writing this I realise how much I love the album.

I will do another...

Sugababes - Catfights & Spotlights

Praise goes to their vocals on the album, they sound better than ever. But the album itself I do not enjoy. Lack of catchy hooks and infectious beats. It really disappointed me.

Out of Take That's albums,I listen to 'Everything Changes' the least. I don't love any of the album tracks, just like a few of them. Music-wise 'Take That and Party' was rubbish but I absolutely adore the cheesy popness of that album.

If I was to include solo albums,Mark's 'Green Man' is atrocious! Never listen to it.

Christina Aguilera, her self titled debut. It was at a time in her career when she did not have the control she had later. I still love it, the singles are classics and I like the majority of the album tracks but it's not on the same level as her others.

I'd have to say "Rudebox", I liked it, its probably one of my favourite, but it nearly destroyed Robbie's career, so yeah, it earns its spot as the worst

Britney Spears - Oops! I Did It Again - not because i think it's bad, just because it's the one i listen to least.

Lady Gaga - The Fame - simply because she has made only two albums and The Fame Monster topped The Fame which was fantastic.

Delta, by Delta Goodrem. I do love it but her other two are just far far better. The album just slightly lacks something the other two have and two songs on it are crap. There were too many people writing each of the songs- like Delta and four others.. her songs are better when it's just her and one other person. Also, there's not enough of the PIANO in the songs. That is all :P

Daft Punk - Alive.

I saw them live and the album was recorded during their gig in Paris and it was completely different from what I have seen live. The album is all live, but does not have the same hype as it had in Nimes. I'm not the only one who noticed that. To me, they should have recorded it somewhere else, but not in Paris.
It still was brilliant, but way under what they can give.

That's bull. You can love an artist and still criticise/dislike their work.

a true fan of somebody is able to recognize their faults and appreciate their weaknesses.

Exactly. I imagine most artists want fans to think about their output. It's simply not natural to like every song and album the same if your brain actually registers music in any meaningful way at all.

And I swear to christ if you don't stop using that silly little green head smiley when you try to revert to serious mode, Courtney ...

Fall Out Boy - Folie A Deux. I still love it, but it's nowhere near as brilliant as IOH and FUTCT

Radiohead's Pablo Honey is a very weak album but they were still ironing out problems and discovering their sound.

So not true. You're not supposed to be sheep with no mind of your own. Artists except fans to like and dislike their music. And any fan is gonna prefer one album over another. It's personal taste.

Muse's worst is 'Resistance' although I still quite like it. Yeah Yeah Yeah's a difficult one, I'll probably say 'Show your Bones' just because I don't listen to it as much as the other two but I prefer it's and 'Fever to Tell's' sound to 'It's Blitz'.
