I re-watched it over, Steve did say what bigbrother said, BUT Nicola did talk about nominations, before that part. Big brother just did not mention that part. So I see why Steven is mistaken.
Thanks BBUK4LYFE, that's how I see it too.

I've re-watched it, here's a transcription:
Vinnie: I wonder, I wouldn't have a clue who he'd vote for, you know.
Nicola: I know. Well probably me now, because I've told him off today. Really sorry Stevie B.
Stephen laughs, so does Nicola.
Vinnie: Bit late for that, ey?
Stephen: You should have thought of that before.
Vinnie: No, he knows who it (he?) is
Stephen: You're nice and safe Nicky. Don't worry about it.

Is there an argument going on here? Tbh I watched Glee last night and watched a bit of CBB on C4 then went to bed!
But I remember this bit of conversation just before Stephen went to nominate as Stephen, Nicole and Vinne were over the sink cleaning. This dialogue did happen, and I knew Nicole would get in trouble for it, it was rather sneaky of her it was like she said it not to get nominate, suss out stephens intentions or to tell him she didnt really vote for him.

the point is that he told her that she was safe from his nomination which mean he talk about who he was or was not going to nominate, he broke the BB rules

Nicola broke the rules she speculated who he was going to vote for.

But that was in response to a situation... conversation, initiated by Nicola, or you could argue Vinny. So unless the BB rules only apply to someone responding to a subject rather than the person who initated it (which invariably is done to provoke a response) then BB did actually lie when they told Wag face that she hadn't broken any rules.
I think this is argument is really about who is morally right, a nutty and pompous creationalist or a very passive agressive and immature young woman. There are lots of nicolas in this world.

The point is, he told her something as a reaction from probbing questions, he most probably said without thinking, so morally Nicola has not got a leg to stand on.

The point is moot whether she talked about it or not, they argued about an exact phrase, which stephen pushed onto nicola even though he said it, to lessen his own involvement in the rule breaking.
