BIG Brother housemate Makosi is really an ACTRESS, The Sun can sensationally reveal.

Makosi, 24, is on the books of a talent agency said to have invoiced the show makers for £609.68.....

I can't get the online article so you will just have to buy 'The Fabrication'

Make of it what you will. It's in The Sun. The tabloid that always tells the truth.

Well if she's an amateur actress, just starting out and has not been in anything fair enough....

Does it say anything in the rules about not being an actress?

Rubbish. I'll be glad when it all ends.

Lance

Meh....she'll be in high demanafter the show show becasue if she is an actress she put in a very convincing performance.

If she is an actress so what? I would be annoyed if she was employed by BB as an actress inside the house, but only because people have spent money voting for her to stay/go, but if that's her job, seems fair enough.

True, the majority of people taking part on BB, use is as a stepping stone to bigger things, then the fade quietly into
nonentity.

Personally I think that it just might be some talent agency she signed up, probably years ago, to trying to make some money out of channel 4. A lot of people who want to appear of TV sign-up for to agency to find walk on parts.

kemal
11-08-2005, 10:31 AM
no what it is she is on an agency website where people who are producers of movies e.t.c go to find actresses and one of the companies linked with the website helped her to put a professional video together for her audition which would help her to get in!!!!!

They have now invoiced big brother for the £609 the video cost!!!!

Apparantly Endemol who own the show regularly go to this website and ask for people that would like to go on the show because they know that they are likely to be bright and bubbly people!!! However endemol are denying this and are saying that they have never heard of the website!!!!!

The website is http://www.envenio.com/. The Sun also shows Makosi's e-mail address and mobile phone number, incidently.

I bought The Sun today to read this but I'm afraid it's a bit of a non-story really. So people who want to get into showbiz apply for Big Brother. I think we knew that. Also we knew that Endemol don't just rely on the public auditions.

In fact the most interesting part of the article is that they show a picture of Makosi with her real hair!

I've just seen the article in the sun it would certainly explain the reason why she's had so many secret tasks to perform and some of her bizarre antics.
If this turns out to be true a lot of people are going to lose interest in Big Brother....Makosi may in fact be the death of the series.

LOL, we made fun of Kemal for weeks for thinking that Makosi was an actress/mole, and now the Sun (of all papers, come on) publish a made up story and people are believing it!!

It looks like you Makosi haters can stop celebrating, it seems to be a load of rubbish.

Dr.G

The sun has printed an invoice that was made from Endemol to the supposed acting company Makosi works for for the price of £609.68

It then shows her profile as she joined giving a picture of her with long braided hair.

Contact: Makosi Musambasi
Telephone: 07944540740
Web Address: n/a
Email Address: andile_99@yahoo.co.uk

The article reads "Big Brother's Makosi Musambasi brags of being an "actress, presenter, compere and dancer" on a showbiz website.

It goes onto talk about this "Envenio" company, saying "Envenio BOASTS about getting makosi on the show - and says it send dozens more hopefuls to appear.

BB Production company Endemol claims never to heard of Envenio, although The Sun has seen documents which appear to show the contrary.

The source explains how Makosi was whisked through the audition process and straight into the house, replacing one CHARLOTTE BARNS from Canterbury only hours before Charlotte was set to be told she was going into the house. Claims of her being a nurse are TRUE and she hasn't lied about anything she has said in the house in terms of her background...she just hasn't said anything about it.

An Endemol insider said: "Fans will be furious. The idea of Big Brother is that it's about ordinary folk, not actresses.

no i heard it somewhere, but i can see em doing it, i mean wouldnt you if someone from your comapny was in bb? and if ya had that kinda money lol.

i also heard that this company voted saskia out cos she was a threat in terms of exploiting makosi, and voted oraith when 6 faced eviction cos they knew vanessa would get a few votes and it would avoid makosi being up against her fellow housemates

Don't think so.... it will take between 2,500,000 to 3,000,000 calls to make sure someone would win.

That would cost - assuming she has 1,000,000 votes - between £525,000 and £700,000.

Big Brother bosses have launched an inquiry following claims that naughty nurse Makosi is an actress, according to a newspaper report.

The 24-year-old is said to have joined London's Envenio agency, which describes itself on the Internet as the UK's biggest Web site for helping people "like you" appear in films, TV programmes, reality shows, photo shoots, music videos and adverts.

It also says that the Big Brother programme-maker, Endemol, is a client.

The Sun claims a £609.68 bill was sent to Endemol for studio hire, tapes and photos - allegedly relating to Makosi's audition tape

The paper says it has a copy of an invoice from Envenio's sister company, The Casting Suite, to Endemol.

The paper was told by an Endemol spokesman: "It is possible we advertised through Envenio, we do advertise widely for people to audition.

"But Makosi went through the proper audition process and was not fast-tracked in any way.

"We do not know what the invoice relates to. We are investigating."

Envenio has confirmed Makosi was on its books.

Envenio's chief executive, Paul Booth, admitted sending her details of the Big Brother auditions.

But he denied the firm had made her a professional audition tape, and said the £609.68 invoice obtained by The Sun was unrelated to Makosi.

Mr Booth told the Press Association: "As far as we know, Makosi is not an actress. She signed up for our new faces section, which is for members of the public who aspire to be involved in the business. She put her details on our Web site.

"We emailed Makosi details of the Big Brother auditions, just like we emailed a lot of our members.

"We connect our members with the TV companies but it is no different to a company walking down the street looking for people.

"The invoice is from our sister company, The Casting Suite, and was for a completely separate job we did for Endemol."

Mr Booth said his company had supplied members of the public for various Channel 4 and E4 shows, such as A Place In The Sun, and supplied extras for films including Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.

Makosi paid £75 to advertise her details on its site, and had her photograph taken by the firm's photographer.

An Endemol spokesman also said the invoice was for a separate job unrelated to the Big Brother housemates.

I dont think that the article actually says she has been employed as an actress for BB. My understanding of it was that they had asked for people to apply but they ask for people from all walks of life to apply. I dont think we should be jumping on this so quickly. Yeah Sunny I think it's great the way the Sun can bend the truth so much...and it's even better how they can plant the false thoughts into peope's heads...just goes to show how gullable and naive some people are.Well then some just choose what they want to believe...God if it was "Ant's an actor" it would be brushed aside without hesitation.

C'mon guys it's The Sun and both Endemol and the agency have straightened out the story...but have The Sun reported on that...erm don't think so?!Talk about sensationalism.

The story from what both Endemol and the agency have said is that Endemol pay agencies to raise awareness of BB auditions and recruit people to go to auditions. The agency sends it's clients who want to be on telly to these auditions and in return get paid for recruitment. Is that hard to understand?

There are millions of companies and agencies out there who do this.Funny though how it was all to target Makosi...obviously The Sun are pro-Eugene...sad that they have to resort to these kind of tactics though.

Makosi Musambasi, now second-favourite to win the current series of Big Brother, is just one of the hopefuls on Envenio's books...Your photo, contact details and a brief CV are put in an online searchable database and casting directors will contact you directly if they want to use you."

According to The Sun...take that into consideration.

Erm yeah Sunny they have a page on it today,Derek moaning about it and stuff..still though Endemol and the agency are sticking with everything that I wrote above which is a lot more likely.

Anthony to win :dog:

Lance
12-08-2005, 02:48 PM
Exactly Sunny,I do not think that BB went to this company specifically to look for an actor to go into BB.

Like I have said...BB probably has paid out to many agencies out there like this one to get people to coe to auditions, and Makosi just happened to come from an agency and now it's all been exposed as a scam and tbh it's very sensationalist...so it's a lot easier for people to believe.

All a lot of people did was read the headline and the first couple of lines of the article and then they make their presumption but if you actually read through it all you can see the real sense in it...BB didnn't directly hire Makosi, they went through the agency to get people to audition.

Sunny_01
12-08-2005, 02:50 PM
Totally agree Lance - when you read further into the article you saw that she was not hired by BB, the company were hired by BB to put forward potential HMs.

Even though I dont like her I dont like some of the things that have been said about her to make her look even worse than I think she is!
