Very male-dominated house

Yet again, the number of males in the house is increasingly outnumbering the number of females. We will still have all 6 original male housemates until the 4th evictee is announced, whenever that is, and we will be down to 3 females after monday.
An all-too-common occurance on big brother?
I wonder why the females generally don't seem to last (well we've had female winners for the last few series but they've been in the minority for the duration of the show)

It's easier to pinpoint a female being 'bitchy' and in general their negative qualities, I think.

Vinnie has been one of the worst for negativity but people put it down to his 'image'.
