Disrespect to our fallen soldiers?

On last nights show there was a toast to Kat & heidi where sov said Kat & heidi the fallen soldiers..... How can she compare our fallen soldiers to 2 people that have been evicted on a game show, I find this really disrespectful and insult to our fallen heroes.

I am just going to watch last nights show on catch up as i went out ,IF she did do this it will be one more thing for me to hate her for ,I am the very proud Aunty of a soldier who has just com back from his second tour of Afghanistan ,I truly hope her looby fans on here and not saying it is ok for her to do this

Was a bit like when she said she had dodged bullets, after beating Fridays eviction vote. I say Kit her up in combats and ship her off to Helmund, where she can dodge real bullets and maybe learn a bit of teamwork.

The phrase "fallen soldiers" has been in common usage for centuries.
It is applied to all sorts of situations especially in sport related prose.
It has no direct relevance to Afganistan or Iraq as some of you youngsters might think.

Its a phrase.

"Fallen soldiers" doesnt always mean it literally.
It could also mean for people that didnt make something eg.Katia and Heidi who have fallen at the hurdle... not literal soldiers.
