What Peter says to the press(after advice from his PR team) and what he actually means are 2 completely different things.

I'm sure he was loving Alex when he was shouting abuse and threats down the phone at him. Sweet gentle Pete? Never! LMFAO

The reason he won the PR battle with Jordy is because he has the sense to follow PR advice. She's just too stubborn and honest.
