Aww I felt a bit sorry for him as well actually, I thought they were being really mean to him, especially seeing as the reason he was so upset was because his manager is his friend of many years, they were totally missing the point, he can't just get rid of him.

Basically his manager takes half the money that Jonas makes for his music, 50% is crazy but Jonas didn't realise he's being taken for a ride. His manager is also a really good friend of his though, so of course he was really upset to think his friend is ripping him off!! Dane and Sisqo were being really insensitive and laughing at him and taking the piss.

I agree completely. Did you notice that when Steph arrived Nicola didn't immediately tell Steph about in, waiting for Jonas to tell if himself... if he wanted to? I thought that was very considerate too.

Yep, she really is growing on me a lot, I felt bad for Jonas, even though I don't really like him that much, and I would have done the same as her, hate seeing people upset, and not blabbing to everyone about it either. She really seems like a genuinely nice girl.

I don't know what made Jonas most upset, people laughing or the fact that he had trusted a friend that had exploited him. Probably the latter. Furthermore, if he's ripped off or not depends on what he gets for the remaining 50% and what the contract really overs. Since he writes, performs and produces himself, it's hard to believe that the manager will get 50% of everything. However, the manager obviously gets 50% of the money Jonas earns from being in the house. That's crazy. The manager makes some phone calls and Jonas spends a month in a house.

If Jonas signed a contract like that today, he would have been crazy indeed. However, this contract is fours years old and prior to his recent success (but after Boten Anna). As Sisqo put it, you always gets screwed when you sign your first contract. Jonas' mistake is not to update the contract' once he'd become more successful.
