Vinnie's 1st Film Lock stock & two smocking barrels, he gave his whole fee from the film to a heart hospital.

So, he gave up a few bob. His wife owes her life to them. He's still loaded, he can afford to be flathulach.

Lock Stock had a tiny budget, so I'd hardly think that giving away his fee away would have been a huge ordeal for Vinnie, seeing as he probably earned more in a month playing football. Possibly even a week.

Nah, back in dem days you'd be the highest paid footballer in Britain on 4k a week. (I'd love to be on 4k/week/month/year now.:bawling:)

He still would have been earning decent wages though, you know? And don't forget that he was still playing in the 90's when the money started really rolling in. Lock Stocks budget was a million or so and I doubt that Vinnie would have earned too much off it.

So what though, it was still a nice thing to do regardless how much it was or how much he was earning!

Probably but isn't it better to give a little than nothing at all?

My point really is that many people do the same thing and it's not that big a deal really, considering how much the fella made and when you take into account how much he'd probably earned through football. It's nice and all, but he's not Yoda.

Wouldn't half of it gone to the taxman, so he really gave half and the taxman the other half.

Peanuts baby, peanuts. But yeah, it was nice.

It was 55K and he makes regular donations to the same hospitol and alot of other charitys still.

50+ films in hollywood "majority" of them 1 million each, thats without money hes made from TV shows, artcles, football career etc etc.

Just shows hes not the monster people make him out to be, and hes proven that in the BB house. If he was as bad as the papers make out he would of killed someone in the house by now.

and if he done HALF of what the papers say he would of been dragged off and locked up by men in white coats.

Hes an easy target for the papers , they focus on all the bad hes done and not on the good.

He has been in 40. Not 50+. And there is no way he was paid a million for the majority of them. Your talking out of your ass once again.

Vinnie is in a very cheap 1 million a film look it up!

and 30k for guest Tv appearances.

Hes very cheap in the world of hollywood.

sounds reasonable , Angelina Jolie is 15 million a film.

Vinnie was talking about his friend whos in sitcom " brothers and sisters" hes hardly in it and makes 250k a week from it.

Angelina Jolie is a freak of nature and a leading lady in every one of her Hollywood blockbusters. Vinnie is not always a leading man and every one of his films is certainly not a Hollywood blockbuster. Vinnie is not 'cheap' compared to Angelina - he is just worth less as a talent.

But yeah most of vinnie's film's these day's are straight to DVD but he has a big fan base, and why not take the 1 million a film while it's there, majority of people would.

He even sais he's not a good actor, sais he's just someone who's got lucky!

He's got his bad side or did have in the past but he's nothing to what the paper's make him out to be.

I used to go to Walthemstow dog's Vinnie raced his own dog's there, there was no table's left one night but Vinnie gave up his table for me and my family so we could have our meal, even bought us a drink and had a lil chat. he was just a gentleman, down to earth good laugh.
