Really? I think there is no one as nasty as her there. Not even Vinnie. Judgemental, unkind and self-absorbed too.
Yes, she looks hot for her age, she has a nice voice, she can handwash a bathrobe, but to have reached her age and gained so little kindness and understanding... I pity her.
Yes her observations often sound very shrewd and witty, but there´s nothing easier than be witty at other people´s expense. "Beautiful orchid" and "non-entity" my arse! I wonder what would she call herself then.... but I don´t think self-reflection is her strong point. So often the case with the witty bitches of both sexes... :(

ok, may be I am not practicing what I preach here and am being unkind too. In my defense judgemental people are my pet peeve.
I sense that she is not very happy and there are things that worry her, things she doesn´t speak about in the house. Misery often makes people nasty. But to call another human being a "non-entity", how can anyone do that? Who is she to say something like that?? (and I am not a fan of Sov´s at all).
In another words - my pity for her is overshadowed by my disgust. Her behaviour may be understandable, but not excusable. There are plenty of people who´ve had a much harder life than her and who still manage to remain kind.

I don't think her laughing is fake at all. And as for all this snobbish stuff. Rubbish! She's just from a different walk of life. Age can make a difference as well in some areas, such as humour. It's all different for everybody. You don't have to be rich or talk proper to be snobby. Anybody from any background has this capacity.
