Which country has no right to exist?:cat:

they all have the right to exist :\ Northern Ireland and Tibet aren't countries [however much you disagree with that], either.

On account of its size and its purpose, though, I'd say the Vatican City is pretty insignificant. If I'm right, it's only there because it was always being caught up in Italy's wars?

What's wrong with being patriotic? and if you don't like overly patriotic countries than the USA should top your list. How many times have you been to Ireland? and when you say you don't like the accent, is it one particular Irish accent or all of them as there are quite a few.

Every country has patriotic people. Especially countries that neighbour countries they have suffered hundreds of years of abuse from.

Nadine Coyle is from Northern Ireland, you silly tit.

The reasons you listed were reasons why you don't like Ireland not why it is a pointless country as the Thread asked. So basically you're saying you like the Dublin and the Northern accent or is it you like the accent if it's a pretty girl who is speaking?

Or is it the Cork accent you are talking about?

Just which accent are you talking about? What is an 'Irish' accent?

Have you been watching Irish characters on American produced TV shows?

And weather? Scotland and the UK get simmilar rainfall patterns to us.

Well then you can't use not liking overly patriotic countries as a reason for not liking Ireland as the US are thee most patriotic country around!! Have you actually been to the US and Australia ever, out of curiousity?

ive been to the us twice, once with school on a road trip from chicago to san Diego and the second just to las vegas

ive only been to australia once and tbh sydney is the best city in the world

the US may be patriotic but at least it isnt rude to the country that it basically owes everything to

I don't even know where to begin to rip apart this nauseous, hair raising piece of **** other than to tell you to learn some history, stop making poor assumptions, and stick to watching Celebrity Rehab - because that's more in line with what your brain is capable of tolerating.

Americans are very often in comeplete disregard for the outside world.

A lot of areas of America owe quiet a lot to the Irish.

Yes, Britain did give Ireland some new licks of paint here and there, but at the cost of raping our culture to the point of near collapse and beating the **** out of us for hundreds of years.

If you had the slightest shred of clarity and intelligence you would know that the British of yesteryear slowed and hindered the progress of an independent, first world Irish Republic far, far, far more than they helped it.

You want us to just go down on our knees and say 'thank you sir, may I have another?'.

all im saying is Ireland should have a lot more respect for the uk

Stu

Who says Irish people don't have respect for the UK? I'm arguing from historical facts here. Your arguing from wide eyed assumptions. Really, really invalid ones.

I love Britain. Just like thousands of other Irish people. I hate the Britain of yesteryear, and I hate certain aspects of today's Britain, but that's because - believe it or not - countries are BIG PLACES full of LOTS OF PEOPLE and you can't just go making default assumptions.

I hate certain aspects of Ireland too. Our political, religious, educational and corporate integrations are all rotten to the core.
