Vinnie The Jester

There's been a relentless campaign on this forum to discredit and brand Vinnie a bullying control freak, who's got no regard for his fellow housemates. It's simply not true, and anyone who say's otherwise must be watching a different show, or completely oblivious to his dry sense of humour.
The fact is there is no malicious nastiness behind his harmless jibes, it's all said in jest, his fellow housemates can see it and don't take offense, so why all the hatred that seems to be building up because of it?

Vinnie has been a footballer an actor and a builder, professions where that sort of humour is taken for granted. You take it and you dish it out, but there's certainly no maliciousness behind it. The hard shell houses a soft interior with a good sense of fun, but anyone who get's on the wrong side of him would certainly know it, but that just shows strength rather than weakness, and he's certainly the type of guy you would like to have around in a crisis.

The fact is that Vinnie Jones is a respected Brit made good, and a really good ambassador for this country. All the nasty jibes, knocks and insults that have been posted on this forum are totally unwarranted and without foundation. He's been a great housemate and CBB7 would have the poorer for his absence.

But Vinnie can't take it. He demands dogged devotion from his fellow housemates or else, the bitching commences and they are on their way to an eviction. Sisqo choosing to give Vinnie a taste of his own medicine promted him to run whinging to the diary room, threatening a lawsuit. Vinnie may be a lot of things, but he is not thick-skinned. It seems 'banter' is only 'banter' when it suits Vinnie.

They don't SEEM to take offense because none of them want to be the target of his bullying and insensitivity. They want to be on his best side. He's a cruel, hurtful person and I have no idea why anyone would admire someone like that. :conf:
