Yeah I wasn't Max's biggest fan,he's really cocky and stuff like that.He did deserve to stay longer though IMO

Maxwell was a proper bloke, a normal everyday geezer, so I guess he doesn't really suit BB, where you have to be some kind of freak transvestite or a wannabe gangsta to fit in. How can you people slag him off while complaining about Makosis treatment? Don't you see the irony?

I said Victor was a disgrace
at times but overall I thought he was a good housemate who played the game well whereas I think Maxwell is annoying overbearing numpty.

So, Victor squares up to a girl and puts his weight around the whole time yet is OK, but Maxwell, who finally snaps and squares up to Science after being wound up all day, despite usually having a laugh and a joke, is not OK?

You seem to have a strange way of reading things that I don't write, I do not justify anyone squaring up to girls and behaving in a threatening way. You mention Maxwell being wound up by Science but the same can be said for Victor being wound up by Marco.
Why are my morals being called in to question? I am not justifying the actions of Victor and then condoning Maxwell, you seem to have you're own agenda with Maxwell :rolleyes:. I love the way you paint the picture of Science being this bad wannabe gangsta to Maxwell the down to earth good cockney geezer, let's all bow down to Maxwell, I think not! However I loved Victor, he had some lovely qualities to him. Whereas Maxwell didn't say one thing that was nice to anyone! He would call Craig (his friend) and would refer to Saskia with terms that was completely degrading to women. I disliked Victor when he turned on Shell, he became a bully. Maxwell was ALWAYS a bully. I doubt I'll see him on tele after tomorrow :dance:

I thought Maxwell was a complete and total idiot - he was loud, lewd, cocky, arrogant, uncouth, not funny (although he thought he was hilarious), and aggressive. Having said all that, if he had received the reaction Makosi received from the crowd, I would not have liked that.

I could not stand Maxwell, for the reasons I have already stated. However, his accent and his class had nothing to do with my opinion of him.

both loud, lively, brought something to the house, fun, laughter, pranks, and good times. but most people that like boring housemates vote them out.

I quite liked maxwell at the beginning but towards the end he started to get on my nerves with the saskia thing, but after he'd left i was sorry he'd gone, i thought his outfit looked goodf on him :spin2:

Throwing water on somebody that's bombarding you with seriously out of order insults doesn't fit with that at all. And as for Science, I don't think anyone in that house had the power to intimidate him in any way, shape or form. He was more than capable of fighting his own corner, and never backed down from anyone.

Nobody has given any reasonable justification for their irrational hatred of Maxwell, and in a reverse situation I am more than certain that somebody would suggest the motive is down to something other than personality alone.
I have already read comments like 'chav scum' 'white trash' and 'football hooligan' referring to Maxwell on these boards, so how anybody can condemn me for pointing out the hypocrisy in evidence here, I don't know!
It's all so depressingly familiar these days.

I've never called Maxwell any of those things, and neither do I hate him - although I did not like him as a housemate at ALL. I have stated my reasons why I didn't like Maxwell on many threads and have no intention of repeating myself again.
Don't assume that everybody who disagrees with you is a 'hater'.
And could you stop making ridiculous comments about minoriy groups please? You're only showing yourself up.
