Some of them will be in the public eye for a few months - but there are no Brians or Jades amongst this years housemates. In a years time, I will probably struggle to remember their names - except for Citizen Science of course!

Personally, I think people are growing bored of the housemates after they leave the house! I think they want to see them when they are in the house but get over them after the first week they've left!

Sam / Kinga - Some porn channel.

Derek - Becomes an MP of his local area.

Maxwell and Saskia - Some dating show, that flops after two episodes.

Eugene - New countdown host.

Orlaith - Sleeps with a footballer, gets front page news.

Kemal - Is found dogging in a co-op car park.

And the rest will crawl back into there jobs and remain unnoticed.

I agree with this. For the first couple of series, there were always articles, kiss and tells etc., appearing in the newspapers about the housemates, but people aren't so interested now. I think they know that the housemates will have their 15 minutes of fame, and then more than likely fade into obscurity. And as you say, people are interested in their behaviour while they're in the house, but less interested in what they're like outside. I think the three who will do best will be Makosi (her fame won't last forever, but she could make a lot of money out of it if she's smart), Science and Derek. However, I don't think Science and Derek will necessarily spend a lot of time in the public eye, but I think they will both quietly do well out of the experience. People like Sam and Saskia have done the inevitable photoshoots in lads mags, but in a years time, they'll be forgotten (despite Saskia's best efforts).
