Jonas is a nice guy like Alex. They have both shown themselves to be good people in the house.

Both Alex AND Jonas has been themselves. Jonas got off to a bad start but Katia caused him problems. Since Katia went Jonas has been more himself. The HMs can't be anything but themselves after that amount of time in the house. That is why while Vinnie is shown to be the bully thug 'hard man' he is while people like Stephanie are gracious and kind, and Alex and Jonas are genuine and nice natured.
