Is it fair to say that the majority of people who tell other's to "get a life", lack one themselves? I was wondering if anyone could enlighten me as to what even defines "a life"... Can anyone even say this without being hypocritical?

Yes.
Like in my thread from earlier about BB11 Being 17 weeks away, I was attacked by people telling me to Get a Life, yet im sure they have said somthing on here like 'I feel so sad without BB'

There's no such thing as 'being sad', really. Everybody likes and enjoys different things, to call someone 'sad' or to tell them to 'get a life' just because you don't agree with them is pathetic really. They can live their lives how they want.

Yeah, I read that thread. I'm sure I could say a few things about the people in question, but people already dislike me, I wouldn't be doing myself any favours, so I'll keep hush. :P

Explain how it's a double standard, I don't see how the principles of "a life" change, perhaps they lead a life that the world has definite as "a life", problem is I have NO idea what people define "a life" as!

I mean it's double standards to have a shared interest in big brother and be rude when someone is looking forward to the next series no matter how long away it is!
I don't think "get a life" makes sense either!
