Do you believe there is such a condition and, if so, do you suffer with it? I'm doing a bit of research into this to try and establish whether it is something more than just the winter blues. If you think you suffer with it, what are your symptoms and are they different from other kinds of depression you sometimes feel? How do you cope with it?

The weather does not affect me at all. And I think 'Winter Blues' are usually more down to financial issues and the holidays being over and that.

I think it does exist.

I don't get it but I do feel a tad depressed in the winter. Hits me most in February though, I think CBB gets me through January :blush2: ... or did.

I wouldn't say I have it but winter really does depress me! I hate the dark & the cold weather, can't wait until summer!

It probably exists, but snow makes everything better

When it first snowed it really bothered me, I hated the cold & like been stuck in the house, I felt dead clustaphobic.

But you can easily wrap up warm and play out in the snow, that's the unique thing about it. It's not as if people play with rain.

But I see where you're coming from.

Longer nights, shorter days, miserable weather - it definitely is a depressing season for me.
